Disturbed by huge political spending in Wisconsin? Here’s one thing you can do.

Voters are not powerless to curb the power of billionaires in Wisconsin politics. But it will take action from a lot of us.

  1. Perhaps a better idea would be to donate a stipulated amount of free airtime to candidates on the channels of their choices, limiting the total number of days [Like 3 months?] that the campaign can last.
    A candidate could choose one or several channels and choose the number of minutes each time, like several long “fire chats” or a larger number of mini programs, all with the same amount of total time..
    The idea is to keep the amount of time equal between all candidates so that ideas and policies can be put forwards and limit the influx of dark money and constant vile accusations without any proof.
    Also, citizens United must be repealed. We should agree that entities that cannot be killed in a war and cannot serve time in prison are NOT human beings and should not be allowed to give twice [once in the name of the company plus once in their personal capacity].
    In exchange for the free system, candidate would not be allowed to use Pac money; just a fixed sum from each Party and definitely should not receive money from Foreign actors.
