    I find it hard to believe a study that finds right leaning voters less willing to compromise than those on the left. Both right and left media fan flames of partisan passion In my daily life I find people on the left and right to be equally reasonable or unreasonable depending on the issue that ignites them. Given that UW professors lean left I suspect the researchers had a preconceived opinion of right leaning voters that they set out to prove

    I do agree that partisan 24 hour media has a lot to do with our current hostile political divide. But to blame one side more than the other is counter factual
