Since the week of the election, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has repeatedly stated that many voters don’t trust the election results, then cites that distrust to call for investigations into the election.
After Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers issued a mask mandate for all public indoor spaces last month, state Republicans questioned its constitutionality and hinted at legal or legislative action. But polling has shown a large majority of Wisconsin residents support the mandate, and Republicans have not yet moved against it.
