The left-wing justice was previously a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge.

Her term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court expires in 2028.

A justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will earn an annual salary of about $185,000 in 2023, more than any other elected official in Wisconsin state government, including the governor, who will earn an annual salary of about $166,000 in 2023.
